Kelantan 2009

Tour Kelantan 2009, was one of the unforgettable moments in my photography life. A few days before i had entered Narathiwat.
Arriving Kota Bharu from Rantau Panjang late night before, took better sleep and woke up very early to get morning breeze in Kota Bharu. Had 2 nasi lemaks (steam rice cook with coconut milk), each RM 0.80, superduper cheap! Enough to generate energy for photohunting at the town.
1 must go place that already in my list was Pasar Siti Khadijah, market place for raw cooking materials. Everything you can get from there. The people around were so friendly, greeted my assistant me with warm broad smile.
Took the opportunity, photographing the blind massage service. At upper level of Pasar Siti Khadijah, numbers of shop selling clothes, traditional wear (songket, batik, songkok). Heaven of shoppers.

Remember the Name

I'm not a model photographer anyway, by any chance i am still a photographer who hunts the beautiful portrait of human. I love the session and the morning weather, bright sunny day!

My favourite presentation of my work would still be in black and white. It creates the feel of timeless in any photo that suits black and white.
The setting for this photoshoot is simple, just 1 umbrella to fill in the natural shadow from sun.

Prince Charming

He may not worth thousand of ringgit nor any penny but he is the prince in the family. Sitting in the throne of MaPretty, clearly he is the last in the Royal Kingdom. The heart-throb of my family surely living in the fabulous lane.

Spent time with friends (Putra Ria) at center city futsal, watching them play, give supports, jeered here and there hehe.

After tiring all day :

Still preparing gears and lighting set for tomorrow's photoshoot. Hope the weather will be good with morning sunlight.

Morning in Bali

It was a lovely day in Bali, arrived late from KL and almost miss the flight. Thank God, three of us made it.

When I woke up that morning, i saw the real culture of Balinese who embraced Hindu in the island. Some local old folks using head dress, entered temple there for prayers. I just walked around, waiting for something really special, catch of the day.

People there were nice, everytime i passed by them along the street, they keep smiling and really helpful. In case, you just lost your actual way to destination on the island, just ask them.

Seriously, I wanna be a photojournalist!

Ferringhi

Batu Ferringhi Penang. One of the sea side hotel resorts. When night comes, it is the heaven for DVD shoppers. Just tell any movies/series in your mind, sure they'll have the stock for you.

Penang specialty? Food of course, from local cuisine, oriental and western, all you can get here.
